One of my favorite law enforcement scams is the number of witnesses scam. If law enforcement puts up a large number of people with the same story everyone assumes it's true. For example 20 or 50 witnesses in a criminal court case. United States law enforcement has hundreds of thousands of employees and billions of dollars.
